Dr. Matthew Black

Optometrist

I’m Matthew Black, your friendly neighborhood optometrist. I’ve spent all my life in West MI. I went to Cedar Springs High School before going on to Grand Valley State University. From there I attended the Michigan College of Optometry at Ferris State University.

I love hunting, fly fishing, and being outside with my dogs. I really enjoy optometry and helping people see the world a little clearer. I’ve worked in private practice as well as corporate offices, and now I’ve combined the best of both worlds and started my own office, Alpine Vision Center inside Sam’s Club.
